  1. What is your current ministry and your favorite part of?

I am at the East of Democratic Republic of Congo for six months out of the year to offer Bible lessons. The most I enjoy, it is to see how oppressed people are united and peacefully fight with determination for their rights, believing that the Lord is with them.

  1. Your favorite way to pray?

I prefer to pray in silence and darkness after meditating Scriptures or after having a full day.

  1. What is the best part of living in a community?

The best part of living in a community is being part of a family, receive corrections, orientations, and encouragement.

  1. What is the most fun you have had with your community?

I have promised to my community a special “frittata” (Italian scramble eggs) and my sisters were waiting for it. But when I cooked it, it was nothing special at all for them.

  1. What do you do for fun?

I love reading and be informed. I love history, geography, and sciences.

  1. Any nicknames?

In Bukavu (Congo), people call me “mwalimu” because my main job is teaching.

  1. Any words of wisdom for those considering missionary-religious life?

There is more joy in giving everything than in giving only a part. Poor people deserve your whole life. Do not look for a thousand experiences to go and see poor people in different parts of the world. Meet some of them. Then, fast a day, sleep on the street one night, and walk without money. This will help you to really know them.
