Biblical Pages

... we hope that these pages may nourish the spiritual journey and the apostolic service of those who would like to use them.

To listen to the word of God requires silence and the gift of the Holy Spirit, the true interpreter of Scripture. Then, by the loving attention of the bible text, it comes to our memory others biblical passages. Then, slowly appears the meaning of the text, which enlighten our life and moves us to pray, to contemplate and to transform our life. It is the Holy Spirit who guides us in this way, in which the main decision is not science, but the gift of faith and love.

The II Vatican Cauncil writes: " ... in the sacred books, the Father who is in heaven meets His children with great love and speaks with them; and the force and power in the word of God is so great that it stands as the support and energy of the Church, the strength of faith for her sons, the food of the soul, the pure and everlasting source of spiritual life"... ( Dei Verbum. 21)

The above comments came up in different circumstances; occasionally they may sound different. Some times the written material came up as practical support, so it is possible to find quotation without the name of the author and some others imprecision. Therefore, for all of these we apologize. However, we hope that these pages may nourish the spiritual journey and the apostolic service of those who would like to use them.
For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11 so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
